Kelsey Matthes | Office Manager

Before joining NewStudio, Kelsey worked as the Lead Teacher at a childcare facility for ten years where she gained valuable experience as a team player and detail-oriented organizer. She says, “I learned a lot there. Still, my most significant experience is becoming a mom!”

For Kelsey, a growing family gave her an appreciation for work-life balance. “It’s a totally different experience at NewStudio. The culture here supports me being me: I’m Kelsey again, and evolving as a person,” she adds. “People here care about their careers and their families and hobbies. They’re genuine.”

Kelsey’s husband, James, was already working at NewStudio when she joined the firm. “I thought it would be weird to work with my spouse, but it’s been great. Our desks are separated across the office from each other, which is good, because I can make fun of him that way,” she says with a grin. Together, they add humor and positivity to NewStudio’s team.
