NewStudio Architecture was founded in 2011 by Sean Wagner.
Originally located in an apartment over the old Johnson Boatworks in White Bear Lake, MN, Sean, along with Adam Jarvi and Melissa Martyr, began an architectural design practice based on innovative and creative thinking, honest and personal client relationships, and empowered staff.
Since then, NewStudio has been licensed in 45 states and 4 Canadian provinces, employed over 110 individuals, and completed more than 600 projects.
Currently, NewStudio practices in 41 states and Washington, D.C., employs 6 licensed architects, maintains an interior design department, and has several drafters, designers, and surveyors on staff. The firm also employs a furniture designer, has an on-site woodshop, and operates an art gallery on its lower level.
